Itinerary Highlights

    • 10:00 AM - Meet at the dock and set sail towards Ilha da Cotia.

    • Engage in optional sailing lessons or relax as you capture the beauty around you.

    • Explore Saco do Mamanguá with an optional hike to Pico do Pão de Açúcar and a visit to a hidden waterfall.

    • Early morning sail to Ilha do Pelado, perfect for morning light photography and a refreshing swim.

    • Continue to the remote Ilha do Pico and Ilha do Ventura, where you'll capture untouched landscapes and enjoy quiet reflection.

    • End the day with a night photography session, capturing the stars over the tranquil waters.

    • Visit Praia do São Gonçalo for a relaxing morning of swimming, beach photography, or quiet reflection.

    • Return to Paraty with a final sail along the coast, arriving back at approximately 5:00 PM.

Please note: The beds in the cabins are shared. Solo travelers may be paired with another participant in a shared bed. This helps foster a close and welcoming community on board. If you have any concerns or preferences regarding the shared arrangements, please let us know in your application.

What’s Included: All meals, photography guidance, sailing lessons on the Catamaran CatFlash 35, mindfulness gifts (a custom mug, a small journal, and a pen), and all activities.

Payment can be made via credit card (with up to 4 installments) or debit card. There are only 6 spots available, so secure your spot early to avoid missing out!

Due to its limited availability—offered only once or twice a year—spots fill quickly. Apply early to secure your place.

  • If accepted, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a link to complete your registration and payment.

  • Fill out a combined form that collects essential information (allergies, medical conditions, swimming ability) and facilitates payment.

  • Once your payment is processed, receive a confirmation email with all the details you need to prepare for the journey.

  • This experience is for anyone with a passion for photography, nature, or adventure. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced photographer, or simply someone looking to disconnect and connect with nature, you’ll find value in this journey.

  • Yes, participants should bring their own photography equipment. We recommend a DSLR or mirrorless camera, various lenses, a tripod, and other accessories. A detailed list of suggested items will be provided after you secure your spot.

  • That’s perfectly fine! While photography is a key part of this experience, it’s also about enjoying nature, learning to sail, and embracing mindfulness. There’s plenty to enjoy, even if photography isn’t your main focus.

  • No prior sailing experience is necessary. Captain Graziela will provide basic sailing lessons, and participation in sailing activities is entirely optional.

  • The experience includes optional hikes and activities that require moderate fitness. Most activities can be adjusted to suit different fitness levels, so don’t worry if you’re not extremely active.

  • The price includes all meals, accommodation on the Catamaran CatFlash 35, photography guidance, sailing lessons, mindfulness gifts, and all activities during the 3-day experience.

  • Yes, if you choose to pay by credit card, you can split the payment into up to 4 installments.

  • Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair while protecting our ability to organize this unique experience. Cancellations more than 60 days before departure receive a full refund minus a small administrative fee. Cancellations between 30 and 60 days before departure receive a 50% refund. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations less than 30 days before departure.

  • If we cancel the experience for any reason, you will receive a full refund of all payments made.

  • A detailed packing list will be provided once your participation is confirmed. It will include suggested photography gear, clothing for variable weather, personal items, and more.

  • Fabio speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Portuguese, so you’ll be able to communicate easily regardless of your language preference.

Travel & Accommodation Info

    • From Rio de Janeiro:

      • By Bus: Regular buses from Rio’s Novo Rio Bus Terminal take approximately 4-5 hours.

      • By Car: The drive takes about 4 hours along the scenic BR-101.

    • From São Paulo:

      • By Bus: Buses from Tietê Bus Terminal to Paraty take about 6-7 hours.

      • By Car: Driving takes around 5-6 hours via Rodovia dos Tamoios.

    • Where to Stay:

      While we don’t formally recommend specific accommodations, Paraty offers a wide range of options to suit various budgets and preferences. Whether you're looking for a boutique hotel, a cozy pousada, or a budget-friendly hostel, there’s something for everyone.
